Commgomer maces remote location means it's often described as the middle of nowhere. Kathy and Jeremiah work to educate their local community about why it's such an important place to protect. The area is a refuge for Joshua trees and the abundance of pinion pines makes it an important gathering space for Indigenous communities. Emily was so grateful to have had a partner like Amber to tackle such a big and meaningful trip.
