The War on Women Is a War on Ideas

The usa already has e problems with maternal mortality, the worst in the developed world. And by direct use of state violence to force an unwilling woman to remain pregnant against her will, many women will lose their lives. Women are far more likely to get shorter prison sentences for the same crime as men. When it comes to hiring practices, they're more likely to be given favorable treatment due to things like affirmative action. I cannot think of a single case where a republican lawmaker, republican commentator, any one who is against abortion,. has stated that we should let a mother die if there wis something sort of complication, ah, thatit requires an abortion.
