The Chickens Come Home to Roost in Some Organizations
I think there's a couple of threads here. One kind of critique of modern, and especially american work culture is that it is a short term way to run a business too. And so i think what you're seeing now, the chickens come home to roost in some of these organizations liket. People will reach their breaking point, and unfortunately, what that means is a lot of them will drop out of the work force to some degree. I men to think you're seeing this during the pandemic, with women leaving the work forces alarming rates. Some people respond to that with the idea that they have nothing to lose, really.
