Is Noah a Herald of Righteousness?

Peter is referencing a, likely a letter, something literature that the people he's writing to would be familiar with. In Genesis 6 in terms of angels, pro-creating with the sons of men,. And yet because of their overstepping of their bounds, despising authority, God cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness until the judgment. He uses another example, verse 5, he says, if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly. Of course here he's referring to the Genesis account of Noah and the flood.
