The transubstantiation of the bread and wine is called 'transubstantiation' The council of trent makes it clear that this is the exclusive position of catholicism. Anyone who would refute or push back on that transubstantiated, or describe what happens with the elements differently, let him be anathema, not a part of the church. That just doesn't work.
