The Line Between the Kind of Behavior a Corporation Should Engage in and What It Shouldn't
How do you draw a line between the kind of behavior that is acceptable for a company to engage in because that company believes it's going to benefit its bottom line and over the long term and that which isn't? i basically don't fault companies for doing what allows them to sell the most products legally however i think that the impulse that creates the conditions for that to be the profitable thing for the company to do reveals a separate cultural cancer in our society. We have a generation of americans who are hungry for purpose and meaning and identity and hungry for cause who have resorted to thin acts of mixing morality with commercialism as a way of filling a moral hunger that demands more substantial fare, he says
