The Importance of Congruent Positive Regard

When Jordan Peterson talks about cleaning his room, there's this pile of papers over in the corner that you haven't gone through and put away. Because it's a pile of snakes. I can see that back in my own parenting. because they're getting it. And so there are just things that are inconvenient to look at at the moment that cause people to make bad decisions. That if I was capable of never doing anything like that then I would be perfect, right?
