The Importance of June 30th in Free Agency
June 30th is essentially the deadline for any of these deals. The bigger issue is if you're trading a 10 or 11 million dollar player, it's hard to do it after July 1st because the other teams have made free agent decisions. It's just easier to trade any of those players before that happens. You don't want to deal with their agents. I mean, the window is now. The window is six weeks from right now to think about that, to explore those deals.
