The Postal Service Is a Fee-Funded Agency
In two thousand eight the american people sent 92 billion pieces of first class mail, which is pretty much anything that comes it enveloped as a stamp on it. In 20 20, we sent 53 billion, right? That's nearly half of its very rough math,. Nearly half of its volume gone out the door and it's not coming back. The postal service makes money because you and i and use postage products. Why is the postal service struggling financially? Because we all send a lot less mail.
