The More Junior You Are, the Less Impact It Will Have on Your Career
The more junior you are, the less impact it will have on your career at all. It's really easy for employers to just anchor based on the experience and pay that junior folks have when they come into the company. That's why it's so easy for junior people to get a giant race by leaving their job. As as an employer, what you need to be doing is re evaluating the risk levels that you took on when you hired a junior person. Now that you've got time under your belt, six months, 12 months, 24 months, you know a lot more about the risk of this hire,. or else some other company will be happy to reflect that in their pay.
