The Importance of a Wedding
The ability to be spouse is now elevated to sanctification. That's the super important thing. Like the church has her sacraments, the means of sanctification in that is via being the husband and wife. The spousal relationship is elevated to communicate real sanctifying grace. And so the wedding itself, that one hour on a random Saturday, you know, who knows where or Friday night or Friday night. It should be a celebration.
