How to Regulate an Insecure Attachment
With attachment theory, there are only two types of attachment styles. There is secure attachment and insecure attachment. For individuals who have an insecure attachment, generally what we find is they either have difficulty feeling safe within themselves or they have difficulty going to others for support. Someone who has an anxious attachment is someone who has a lot of difficulty self-regulating.
