The Power of Generational Amnesia
I think we have to fight against generational amnesia. There's a new news cycle every five seconds on Twitter. And you start thinking of the world in historically rooted Catholicity. Revivalism fails because it sees itself as this restorationist like, if you look back in church, just for even 10 minutes, everything was wrong. I never would have included the Reformation. Like my story would have been much more linear, but but then God was like, you know what I'm going to do? He said he wanted some popes and they're going to have mistresses at the same time.
