Are You Allergy to Popper?

I don't understand this phenomena that we have in the intellectual world, in academia. They are allergic to this straightforward understanding of epistemology. It's hard to really figure out precisely, to put your finger on what it is about popper's work that really makes people allergic to it. Perhaps they just don't understand it. And David Deutsches said not specifically on this question, but on other questions when it comes to this kind of thing: People tend to read what they expect to read in a particular text.
