How to Be a Successful Freelancer

I wish I knew in the beginning that other freelancers were not my competition, my enemy, you know, people I should fear. There are going to be some clients that just want your style more than mine. It's in your best interest to just be friendly with everybody. Having a support system is so helpful because not all of my friends understand what I do. You need a support system, at least I certainly do.
