Open door lost money on forty two per cent of the homes its sold in august. That is, to me, doesn't seem like a sustainable business model. Opendoor can handle a loss for for a few months. But what i worry about is if they have to take on more debt to buy aggressively and keep up their pace of buying. I'm just not sure how big it could be.
