The Council of Trent in 1546
The official list wasn't really again codified until the late three hundreds. The Council of Trent in 1546 had their, what you might say, they solemnly defined the canon of scripture then. In fact, that's one of the reasons why church councils, councils even exist. At some point it's being challenged. And so we have to have a church council to defend it against those who would challenge it.
