The Effects of Intermittent Exercise on Performance

There are some very interesting studies i'm thinking of the work of Stephen Siler out of Norway who has taken truly high level athletes for example and subjected them to protocols where they try to match effort. There's also some work for example by karsten loonby who has looked at cycling performance again truly elite high level cyclists uh you know low 70s for their VO2 max at least. These athletes showing that sprint type interval training may actually lead to some superior gains in performance than more traditional high intensity intervals.
