Diocletian and the Roman Empire

After just a few short weeks, diocletian had had enough. The drunkenness and grubbiness contrasted sharply with his mental image of the romans of old. There was a whole empire out there that needed his attention, and he couldn't continue to ignore it in favor of this drunken orgy. In a few years, maxentius will arrive on the scene and offer them the opportunity to extract a measure of revenge on diocletians' carefully laid plans for the empire. It should come as no surprise that they will jump at the chance to upset Diocletian's apple cart.
