The Last Shark
The Last Shark made $18 million domestically at the box office, which is quite a bit of money for an independent film. Universal was like, wait, wait,Wait, what the hell is this? So they successfully got an injunction to prevent it from the actual release. Steven Spielberg himself stepped in because he watched and said, I like this movie. Can you imagine if piranha had an injunction against it? That's ridiculous. It's not even the same animal.
