How to Respond to Criticism of Statins
You have been criticized and anytime anybody goes against the mainstream medicine, of course, they're going to be criticized. How do you respond to that? The people who criticize statins are called statin deniers are cherry picking the data. They just simply say, this is an internet cult. Steve Nissen says, these people aren't real scientists. I have no bias whatsoever. And again, I'm just a scientist. My first priority was to improve my own health. It's purely a personal venture for me. I don't want to be biased. I look at the entirety of the literature and I'm coming to conclusions.
