Introduction

LISA is a new space-based observatory under development by the European Space Agency. It will be able to observe colliding supermassive black holes and maybe see primordial gravitational waves of the universe itself. LISA MAX would have arms that extend from the Earth Sun L3, 4, and 5 Lagrange points creating this gigantic equilateral triangle where each arm is about 250 million kilometers long.
