James finley: I'm 76 years old. My wife's ow in the living room, 77. She's seriously ill. And i live in a daily fragility and the ravelling of the unravelling of things. So my participation in the ordinariness of the human experience is i am being asked to walk the walk as i am being ask to the sense of god that spares us from nothing. That i'm to be unexplainably sustained in the midst of unravelling that i can hardly deal with. But somehow, if i do that deeply, this is as precious, you know, and as trustworthy as the day i was born, or the day like that
