Is IQ a Necessary but Not Sufficient Thing?
IQ is just kind of a very shiny proxy measure for other aspects of maybe, you know, maybe there's components of personality in there that we can detect. But it does essentially predict life outcomes in a very robust way - which doesn't really happen with many other things in social science. I think like that's why your work and the work in this field is really important because it's easy to dismiss the field as not worth doing.
