Is There a Difference Between the Mind and the Body?
There's a guy from Stanford, Andrew Hubeman, who was talking about how he prefers to try and change the mind with the body rather than with the mind. And I think that that kind of gets to this physiological independence between the way that you feel, the things that you think, the habits you have - all of these things are loops. If somebody starts smoking, that means that it's going to be more difficult for them to do this and that and the other. It just helps to continue to push them down. And the reverse is true as well. You see these trajectories of people just start to split apart,. because the person that has good habits engenders more good habits
