I'm interested in how businesses encourage their cohorts to be more creative. And I thought a great entry point for this conundrum is your work at Stanford's D-School. You were teaching PhD students how to commercialize their research, bringing a design thinking lens to the lab Petri dish. So what we're doing is we're taking the constructs and approaches which are tried and true methods used by designers and reapplying them in unexpected places. The question of how we bring the richness of academic research and lab experiments into the big messy and disorganized corporate world that we both spent a lot of time in.
