We're all living through a massive inflationary crisis and cost-emitting crisis. Conflict with China would eclipse that and make things considerably worse for people all over the planet. What you learn when you're in Southeast Asia is that our economies are hugely intertwined. Because this region represents so much of the world's GDP, we have to avoid missteps, miscalculations, misunderstandings.
