The breeding of tritium is also being pursued elsewhere and can be done if you have other neutron sources. ITER has its mission on the plasma physics side of things, confirming that we can get to this Q of 10 state. As long as you don't ask for a net energy gain, getting fusion is not that difficult. It really isn't a huge problem because- Because we understand that physics from fission, that's what we have to discuss.
