The Pitfalls of a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Episode

One of the hikers was a World War II veteran, as you mentioned. My husband believes he must have had some sort of post traumatic stress disorder episode triggered by the noises of the wilderness howling winds and rocks falling. He either became a threat to the group inside the tent and caused them to flee in a hurry, or more likely cut the tent and led the group out saying that they were under attack from Americans. Please let me know where the holes are in this theory.
