Agnel's Great Allusion

Everybody, almost to a man, suggested the first world war couldn't happen. Agnel's book, the great allusion, was subscribed to and bought into by many millions of people. He was right number one, nobody would win. But humans are irrational. And because humans are irrational, countries are irrational, and they do irrational things. The rational man, back to our idea, john, the rational man acting rationally, would have said, we should never do this.
