The Impact of the Iraq War on the UK Politics
Jonathan Freeland: The impact on those soldiers was massive too, but nothing like it was on the people of Iraq and that country. He says there's an obvious awkwardness in talking about the consequences of the Iraq war for anywhere other than Iraq itself and the surrounding region. But the war did have a huge effect on the UK and its politics and that, it seems to me, is worth thinking about and discussing.
