No official risk assessment was ever completed for this ride. Most were teenagers looking for a summer job. Emergency staff didn't even know where the emergency stop button was located. The theme park's parent company, Arden Leisure, was fined $3.6 million dollars and this became the largest fine for a workplace accident in Queensland, Australia.
