Matthew 27 - Should We Finish Matthew 28?

In Matthew 1, why is he named Jesus? The name Jesus means, well, in the popular etymology of it's day of Jesus' day, the Lord saves. So what ultimately redeems us is that Jesus says in Matthew 20, the son of man comes to give his life as a ransom for many. Christ brings about the definitive atonement. He pays the price, if you will, of our sins.
