The Them in Acts

Acts is a narrative rather than a list of precedents. Most scholars agree that it was written sometime between 70 and 90 AD with some suggesting a date in the 60s or later. It's telling us the story of the early Christian movement, but it's also trying to write a story that helps the Christians to defend themselves in the court of public opinion. So I think one of the things the book of Acts is trying to do for us is trying to model for us how to follow Jesus.
