Mark: I like this approach to therapy because it does have kind of philosophical and spiritual deeper meanings that will get more powerful as we continue. Sometimes it's really helpful to use what we call self defense, which isreally kind of arguing back about the validity of the thought. But if we're constantly harping on ourselves or labeling ourselves negatively, obviously we're going to feel a lot worse. Mark: The telling yourself you're defective is a worse problem than being defective.
