I have this vague impression that philanthropists can often be quite reluctant to get in on policy or you know advocacy around government policy because they feel it's extremely uncertain what kind of impact they're going to have. Is that true? I think the most strategic climate philanthropists are actually like quite involved in policy so I'm mostly for me when we're in the high-income country context where like future emissions are small innovation capacity is large.
