Robert “Byrd” Akleh, Citywide Canvass Manager for Zohran Mamdani’s campaign, admits plans to pressure the NYPD to defy ICE and obstruct deportations, bragging about a “coordinated” socialist takeover of New York City. Akleh says the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are the “backbone” of the campaign, with staffers from AOC and Jamaal Bowman’s teams helping run the operation.

He describes how they “organize the mosques,” mobilize South Asian Muslim voters, and send “young, lesbian white women” to hand out flyers, all part of an identity-driven strategy to seize political control.
