The Role of Nicolas Cage in the History of Cinema
Nicolas Cage has become the whipping boy of movie critics for the most part. He embodies the object of ridicule, especially when you're thinking about quote unquote, high art cinema. In between period where what he was doing was primarily like direct to video, extremely low budget movies that really only exists because he's in it. These like completely oddball performances where again, he treated them as a kind of laboratory.
