More start ups are looking to this form of governance as an alternative to giving away ownership. Steward own companies are for profit, but the money they make isn't taken away by investors. The rest of the money can basically be given away to charitable causes. And then also the capital rights are given to a foundation to basically hold on to and to safeguard.
