The History of Membership in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church
In the 40s, in the late mid to late 40s, the CRC was entertaining receiving the Orthodox Presbyterian Church into its highest form of fraternal relations as a sister church. They sent a telegram, I believe, which was received at the first general assembly and acknowledged our existence. The common bond is that we still share the invisible church with one another. We are both visible churches making manifest the body of Christ here on earth.
