A Little Bird Telled Me by Jerry Wexler
At the time Burns seemed to think that songs about American history were going to be the next big thing. He'd co-written a song called A Little Bird told me with Ursul Hickey, and it was recorded by La Baker. But he was still basically a nobody in the music industry. Jerry Wexler had produced that La Verne Baker record of A Little Bird telling me, and he liked Burns so he accepted a Burns and Medley co-write for the next top note session.
