If you're talking to a border line personality, they can take that lik al ok, i get it. So this is the beginning of the end right here. You don't want havthg to do with me any more. They will take that and over react to it, over interpret it. Real or imagined, they'll take that and turn it and be so threatened by it that they will wear you absolutely out. Now how's that going to show? They're going to make frantic efforts to keep you close. And any kind of attention is better than no attention at all.
