The iPad is so anemic in terms of IO that I wonder if it uses a proxy workflow not for computation or rendering reasons but purely so they don't have to find a way to bring the full fledged media files to and from your iPad. That doesn't make sense either because if you can't bring them from the Mac onto there they have to be created on the iPad to begin with. It's like wow great look at all the new technology we have but going to the iPad version it's not like the iPad doesn't have that power again m1 iPad is fantastically more powerful than than most of the machines that have ever run Final Cut right.
