Calvinist belief that faith is a condition for salvation. The aspect of our salvation comes from God. At the very least, our decision to trust Christ didn't come from God. And I think that contradicts passage. So you can't just say it's from God. Faith is a gift from God. But that doesn't mean it's an effectual gift given to some people and withheld from all others.
