Is the IMF Forecast Really Wrong?
Every government in the world, more or less, is a shareholder in the IMF. They say that growth for the UK in 2023 is projected to be minus 0.6%. In other words, the economy getting smaller and they say that's a 0.9 percentage point downward revision. But when they last kind of made these projections and predictions in October, what's driving that quite big fall? Yeah, and I think what's striking about this is remember, it's not really the numbers.
