Vladimir Putin's Career Choice

Putin attributes his career choice to a popular movie called the shield and the sword, which he's heard described as the Soviet James Bond series of movies released in four parts. He can still sing the theme song from memory to this day. Putin was so enamored of his career choice that at one point, he went to the KGB office in Leningrad to volunteer when he was a teenager.
