In 2010, I started noticing a weird pattern of an admixture analysis which is a model based clustering. A Caucasus type ancestry seemed to be more prevalent among Indo-European speakers than non-Indo-European speakers in particular localities. And you kind of saw this even before you had ancient DNA. So it's awesome, but it's all suggestive until you have ancient DNA. The Yamnaia people did push west, but really their core is between the Dineper and the Don River.
