The Power of Participation in DBT
The skill involves participating in this one moment fully, kind of letting go of everything else and just being so present. It's something that is, is easy to do in act, when we're experiencing activities that we enjoy. But it's a lot harder when you're not enjoying the present moment. There are some activities that sort of force participation, like going on a roller coaster or eating a new spicy food that you've never tried before right? Like you are going to be fully in that moment.
