The Role of Trauma in Alcoholism on Reservations

There's no access to one traditional foods which have been you know through policy eradicated through government policies over the decades and centuries. These are food deserts and at the same time like Dr. Hall Weaver mentioned there's poverty so if you're trying to get healthy food you don't have number one it's not in the reservation. There's also a lot of lingering trauma and mental health impacts that I think play into the high rates of alcoholism on some reservations.
