COVID: Can you comment on the wave of new coal plant approvals at the provincial level this year? COVID: This could have been entirely predicted, we know for previous experiences that the provincial governments want to overpermit. We are now at about 1100 gigawatts, which was roughly a 13 five year plan quote unquote cap. China electricity council, state grids, research institute and the design planning institute have all argued pre-COVID that China needs another 200 to 300 gigawatts of coal over the next decade.
